Hello and welcome to Veggie High Vision. Thank you for taking the time to view my Blog and for making your health and happiness a priority!
If I had to pick a food item that would sum up most of my past, it would be chocolate covered cacao nibs (Cacao: stimulating pure chocolate, can have benefits, but is draining in excess; Chocolate: cacao mixed with other ingredients, sugar (a.k.a. crack) being the important one, addictive and also draining) Sugary chocolate goodness with a pure chocolate center. Always tasty, always addicting and dependably stimulating, but never really satisfying. I could not get enough!
Since the day a force stronger then chocolate, cookies and cupcakes kicked me in the ass and out of my sugar-induced-coma, I have been living with new found vitality and mental clarity with a new perspective. I am opened to all the questions, and never expecting to have all the answers, but am trusting in myself and in love. I dumped the crack, uncovered my allergies, learned what it means to be a healthy vegan, and am now high on veggies and life. I have learned to listen to my body and will never ignore it again.
Some of my philosophies are: eat the rainbow; make it your own; listen to your body and love it as much as it loves you; prepare food like your life depends on it because it does; everything is connected; educate yourself, and question everything! Above all, remember that you deserve the best!
I invite you to join me in my explorations and I hope to inspire you along the way!
